These methodologies range from working the basics of Vision-Mission-Image Setting, to innovative processes like Future Search and Scenario Planning. Vision-Mission-Image Setting Sometimes organizations need the basics. Or maybe it’s time for you to go back to basics. We help you sort out the difference between your vision and mission, and take you right through to image setting, values setting, and identifying resources to accomplish your goals. To bring the planning alive, experience tells us that you must establish your Critical Success Factors (CSFs). They function something like a litmus test when you set goals. CSFs help you make decisions as you go on whether your plan of attack aligns with: Vision and mission How does the goal truly help us achieve our mission? Resources Do we have the financial, human, and technological resources today? Image How does this goal support our image and brand? This is the work that sets you on your path to accomplishing your goals. Future Search This method gets the whole system in the room to build common ground on what is the organization’s preferred future. People work together to grasp the impact of past and present and to design a future that everyone is invested in achieving. Scenario Planning This method helps the organization identify multiple scenarios for working in a future state. Teams typically establish a best case, worst case, steady state set of approaches. This prepares the organization for "what else is possible" in its future and minimizes surprises about change and turbulence in the marketplace. Leader and Team Transition As organizations change, their leaders and teams need to adopt new patterns of interaction. We design tailored processes that enable leader and team development to take root. Our primary methods for achieving successful transition include facilitation and project management. Facilitation We design small group dialogue, large group interventions, on-the-field coaching, and one-on-one coaching.
